In order to guarantee a long lifetime to all instruments, we recommend:
- New instruments should be cleaned and dried before the first use.
- All instruments should be handled with care. 
- All instruments should be cleaned thoroughly immediately after use.
- Use only cleaning solutions specifically formulated for use on instruments (e.g. alcohol).        
- Instruments with joints have to be opened before cleaning.
- Delicate instruments should be cleaned by hand.Caution! Do not use wire brushes of 
  abrasive cleaners.
- Carbon steel and nickel or chrome plated instruments should not be cleaned together
  (dish-washer) with stainless steel instruments, as this could cause corrosion
- When using acid cleaners, follow manufacturers instruction carefully. Too strong solutions
  or immersions for long period can cause corrosion.      
- After cleaning, wash instruments carefully in clean water, preferably distilled or 
  demineralized water. Dry the instruments thoroughly and check cleaness and function.
- When using chemicals, the manufactures instruction must be followed.
